The show is back with several different housewives, as well as a few from the first season.
Watching the other day made me wonder why I wasn't as interested in these women the first time around, and not much more now, than in other participants on the Real Housewives franchise. Perhaps it's that most of them are all Hispanic, and I think on season 1 they sometimes lapsed into Spanish. Now I find it interesting that there's a "pecking order" depending on where they or their family originally came from; and the attitudes towards women from Cuba, Columbia, etc.
I notice that they haven't had more of "The Real Housewives of D.C." either.
Is there some magic "formula" or specific characteristics of the women & their families, that make some of the shows more interesting & popular than others?
