I happened upon this 2009 Movie starring Emily Blunt as the young Princess Victoria of Kent, who becomes heir to the throne of England as longest-reigning monarch Queen Victoria.
I really enjoyed it, but was even more interested in some of the "small world" things I realized at the end. The movie was written by none other than Julian Fellowes; creator of "Downton Abbey"! Her suitor & then husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coberg and Gotha, was a serious & slightly built blondish actor, so I was surprised to find out that the part was played by Rupert Friend .. who played the handsome .. but cocky & dishonorable "Mr. Wickham", in the 2005 Kiera Knightley version of "Pride and Prejudice."
Have you seen the movie "Young Victoria"? I wonder how historically accurate it was!
