I just joined the group. I am a cancer patient and survivor. Many of the most important people in my life have been claimed by cancer. I am 52 and have led a fine life, yet I'm looking forward to each new day. I recently made a video entitled The Path of Survivorship and posted it on Youtube to help ease the anxiety and advise other newly diagnosed patients, whoever they may be and with whatever cancer they may be battling.
Unfortunately, I have more than my fair share of experience in this arena and I've known people who've coped and adapted very well, and some that have been overcome and diminished by fear. I hope this video may help someone, somewhere to adopt the proper perspective, focus on the positive aspects of life and find some comfort and clarity.

I'd appreciate any feedback you may want to offer....please be diplomatic, I'm very sensitive....
If you think it has value and merit I ask you send the link on to other patients, oncologists, support groups, etc.
Thank you kindly and God Bless You.
I watched all 6 videos in your series Jeremiah and they were wonderful......you are very well spoken, easy to understand and have included so many positive thoughts, comments, quotes and pearls of wisdom throughout your presentation that I don't see how these videos would not be of help to others....
and not just those affected by a cancer diagnosis but any one going thru any medical, emotional, physical hardship or worse could learn something and impact them in a good and positive way.......plus one does not have to be sick to learn from these videos as well....the world would be a much better place if we could all think and behave more positively...if not all the time at least more of the time...
I am an almost 6 yr survivor and while I try to stay as upbeat as I can, I know it's not always easy to do or maintain but you give lots of practical advice to help in that area...something we all can do easy enough if we just try and put our minds to it
Thanks for sharing with us and I wish you the best, hope that you continue to do well ....
and a thought I had, if you ever decide to do more videos you really should consider doing some for meditation or relaxation.....you have the perfect voice with your tone, pitch, etc....I think you'd be great in that area as well...www.aarp.org/community/editor/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/thumbs_up.gif" />
