April 10-16 marks National Volunteer Week—a week to recognize the extraordinary achievements of volunteers nationwide in their efforts to improve the lives of others through service.
We would like to express our gratitude to our 7,000+ AARP Driver Safety Program (DSP) volunteers who give their time and talents to our program. DSP is truly a "volunteer run" program. The service our volunteers give has a direct impact on keeping drivers safe on the roads, preventing traffic accidents, and saving lives. So, THANK YOU DSP volunteers! Your dedication to the AARP Driver Safety Program has made a real difference in the lives of people in your community. Thank you for all that you have done, and continue to do for DSP.
As part of National Volunteer Week, we are recognizing 6 of our DSP volunteers on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/aarpdsp) by posting stories about their involvement with our program. Check out the stories and leave a comment!
Also, if you have a volunteer story that you would like to see profiled on our Facebook page, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
