Some thinks that retirement is good. Yes if your body says "no more!" But if you feel the urge to go ahand and work, you should be able to. Companies know fair and square that they can be issued a ticket and fined up to over a milion dollars for age discrimination if they choose to force the "over 50" to retire. places of employement need to realize that it's God's decision to say when it's time to retire. Not the CEO's job. Since people are living longer these days, some are turning to either letting the people work way past the age of 50 and longer. Hospitals do at times feel that they want to have only young people work in some departments because of things like uncontrolable stretchers and some jobs require lifting super heavy patients. Sometimes, I will see a stretcher that looks like it's gonig to be trouble with it's driver so I would chip in and help out in steering it either into or off of the elevator. I too choose not to retire. I feel that I am one strong lad that can operate big machines. And one that does NOT go around and tearing them up.
