A Post-it note storyboard is a great idea since you can shift the notes around, add (or remove) scenes and see where you need to changes, chart character development, and keep track of subplots. Thanks also for sharing resources and mentioning (the free) The Muse Online Writers Conference; I am sure other group members will benefit from your experience. Even without attending the yearly conference, writers will be able to find links to publishers right on the website. Your choice of a publisher makes sense considering that Wild Child publishes e-books and print on demand, and will do a traditional run after you sell 200 books. Have you had help marketing and distributing your books? Most of the authors I work with set up their own book launches; arrange speaking engagements at bookstores, libraries, and other venues; and pitch radio and TV shows for exposure. Sending books to reviewers is another option. Will your books be available through Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble bookstores? If so, asking people to post reviews on those sites seems to be an effective marketing tool. Again, best of luck with your books.
