Expiration Date On Medications
Have you noticed the expiration date for our medications is one year, from the date we purchased the meds? What I found most interesting was the real date of the expiration for my meds was much longer, than my pharmacy had typed on my prescriptions label. The phamacy had given me the original bottle for my med, not their bottle and the expiration date was 2016 and not 2013, which the pharmacy had typed on my label. Hmm? Now why the difference?
Savings Accounts at Banks
I am used to get a tiny amount of interest on money I have in my savings account, but, alas, banks have now changed this too. I opened up a saving account to build a special fund for vacation or even a necessary home repair. I got a statement from this mega bank, which charged me a $5.00 monthly fee for my savings account. Apparently, savings accounts now have penalties, if you do not put money into the account regularly, as in monthly. What the hay is that all about? Guess the days of getting any interest is long gone, but charging monthly fees for savings account is just the last straw!!!!!
Better to open up another savings account at a credit union, than those mega bank robbers!!!!
