We shop at a business called The Loading Dock. They buy or have donated all items plus more that can be used in building.
We just bought a 1940's old farm house in PA and are fixing it up. We bought a whole custom set of maple cupboards 17 peices for less than 350.00. It has all the bells and whistles of a very expensive set that can be custom built at any hardware store. We have also bought many new and good used windows for the house and my garden shed.
I also bargin at all the stores I shop in. I got a great white plastic picnic table from Walmart for 50.00 it wass on close out for 125.00.
I also bought a screen door and a Pella front door from Lowes both together were priced at over 1000.00 and we scored both for 180.00.
I never but anything at full price and always ask for a lower price than is on the product. I feel thaat they can only say no and than I won't buy it.
We are living off the land and have very limited income, so all purchases have to be at bottom dollar.
