I am new to AARP and the community. I recently started a new venture in retirement. It is called dearmonty.com. I spent my working life in real estate in some very unique jobs. I was surprised not to find anything real estate here, so I wonder if people would be interested in a real estate Question & Answer column?
The reason I am asking this particular group is because I am convinced there is more money to be saved by doing real estate correctly than any other consumer transaction. My own experiences, and the results of consumer surveys suggest that most consumers do not know a lot about real estate and therefore, are at risk when buying or selling a home.
My record demonstrates my beliefs help consumers, but I believe I can continue to contribute in retirement.
Is real estate a subject you would like to see here? If I get a positive response I will start a group. Check out the web site. See if it fits. If you have questions ask me on dearmonty, ask me here, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for your time and I will see you around AARP.
