Attend Free dinner(s) in nice resturants hosted, every month, by finacial advisors:
GOOD: You get an education on financial investments, they are compared and those most approprite for seniors are discussed; IRA,s, Annunities, etc.
The financial Advisors are licensed and regulated so the presentations must follow certain guildelines.
You meet other people since they are usually seated 10-12/ table
The dinner is a 4 course meal. And you choose before the meals are served between Chicken,Steak,Fish.
OH yeah,Did I say FREE!
BAD: Most are slide shows with a work book, and take up 25-45 minutes. Food isn't served until AFTER the seminar. But discussing it with the other attendees can be also educational since some attendees are clients of the hosts.
The hosts go table to table to set an appointment for you in their office for a FREE review of your investments and TAX situation.
You are given an evaluation form so they may improve their sminar.
Ask you friends if they ever get invitations or Google/look up Financial Advisors in the yellow pages, especially those that specialize in Tax free investments or Annuities.
