TODD...The fact is that Obama is allergic to spending cuts and this is the hold up on a solution to the fiscal cliff problem. WHERE ARE THE SPENDING CUTS BOEHNER WANTS TO KNOW. THE SPENDING CUTS SHOULD BE ABOUT $ 4 OR $ 5 DOLLARS TO EVERY NEW DOLLAR OF TAXES IF THIS NATION IS TO EVER GET IT'S DEBT AND DEFICITS UNDER CONTROL.

Did you see that your state, California, has Blue Cross asking for a 20% increase to pay for future Obamacare costs? This is exactly ONE OF THE PROBLEMS I have been posting about which I hope doesn't affect you directly now but will eventually affect all of us.

Blue Shield of California seeks rate hikes up to 20%

Health insurer Blue Shield of California wants to raise rates as much as 20% for some individual policyholders, prompting calls for the nonprofit to use some of its record-high reserve of $3.9 billion to hold down premiums.
In filings with state regulators, Blue Shield is seeking an average rate increase of 12% for more than 300,000 customers, effective in March, with a maximum increase of 20%.
