Flowers, I had to think about the wording before I was able to reply to your post. I spent from 1968 to 1974 in the Corps. You may remember those six years were the height of the Viet Nam war and I never got near the place. For years I thought it was because I was just lucky. But something happened that made me find out it was not luck. My father was a church pastor. Whenever I would come home on ”leave” members of his congregation would tell me they were praying for me. My father always said, "Prayer is the key, but FAITH unlocks the door; when you pray have faith that your prayers will be answered." THAT, in my opinion, is why I was always safe even if I HAD gone to Nam. Continue to pray for your son, get other involved in prayer (the more, the better) and have FAITH your prayers will be answered. He will be coming home! Everything will be alright.
thank you for thinging of my son ,,,,he truly belives in what hes doing and I could not be more proud ....I raised a great son....... hes flying like an Eagle,,when i talked to him he said hes fine ,,,,,,,,,I asked him again as he had to say good bye,,are you sure your ok ....he said MOM IM ALINE ..dont worry ...im so proud of my brave son LCpl Andrew ;;;;;;;
