Grace Potter was great, my brother saw her at Newport last year as well. Pretenders rocked. Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds were great. John Mellencamp (never really listened to him before) was fantastic. BTW .. I just bought CDs for all four of the above.
Jakob Dylan, One Flew South (country with great harmony) ... all very good.
Great concert ... Jerry Lee had the women up & dancing (video on its way). Mellencamp really rocked. I have added a couple more pix today and I have a couple videos being "converted" by AARP. 1 or 2 more on the way.
God, I love this stuff.
Sorry, I meant to reply yesterday but I lost this message in the fray
Glad to hear Grace Potter was great in person; somebody here mentioned her and after listening to her I thought she sounded great. Would love to see her and added her to ticket alerts.
Dave Matthews is always good and is really popular here; has sold out our outdoor venue several times.
Really interesting to hear about Jakob Dylan and of course, Jerry Lee. It has been many many years since I saw him. How about Willie?
What kind of audience did it draw?
