Well, I'm starting to feel like i'm home now. I also love the outdoors.
Going back went camping and hiking in Hariam Park upstat New York. Catskills
and the ADK. I love the trail up there. The fresh streams on a hot summer day. The only
thing I didn't like, that liked me, was the bugs. But with that, every year went up and still love it.
I havn't camped out for some time now. No car, and I did most of my camping with a good friend, which
he moved on with family. Still love it. Steve.
Yep I know that feeling.
We have some nice traild foen here in Fl.. some of the best are county parks.
One of the best down here is a place Ft. Desoto. In the next county over (pinellas) It has one of seven pristine beaches in Fl. it's about three or so miles long. The whole park is located on islands. Camping and fishing abound there. Any body comming down the west coast should stop and camp there. All of the camp sites are on the bay. Step out side grab a pole and catch lunch. Also has an old Fort one one of the walking trails. Bring a cammer and look for a rosetta spoonbill. Prettier then a flamingo. Tenters are welcome along with full size RVs.
If you folks like the description let me know and I'll tell ya about a couple of other parks.
