I've been trying to eat smaller meals, along with snacks, throughout the day as a way to optimize my energy level. I'm certainly not a nutritionist by any stretch of the imagination, but I've learned a lot about the importance of managing blood sugar levels from having a father with diabetes. I've found that I don't get cravings as much as I used to (although chocolate will always be my weakness).
I also biked to work for the first time!
Me , Too,
I am eating smaller meals, and cutting back on meat , esp. beef. I almost eat no beef now, and don't even miss it.
I am exercising more regularly, too. After two years, I see some good changes, and shrunk down two pant sizes!
I had so much fun throwing out old pants this week-end!
But, I heard they are soliciting people for a new medical study, and the requirement is that you must , yes, must eat chocolate every day! Does anyone have more information on this? I really want to volunteer for the good of the medical research , of course!!LOL
I also signed up to to a 5K run- well, maybe I will only run 3 miles and walk the rest, but it is a big change for me, since I never have done any running before. I am running on the tread mill daily 3 miles to help prepare. Wish me luck!
Where is that chocolate study?? Oh, and it's Belgian chocolate's too!!
