I know coffee especially isn't the best, but I still have my cup or two of Starbucks in the mornings. I believe in the "everything in moderation" theory which seems to work for me. It's when I don't pay attention to that and overdo something that I realize it's affecting my body. I don't drink a lot of tea either...that's my afternoon treat and then only white tea and occasionally green tea. I also make sure I drink plenty of water during the day...I take my travel water cup with me everywhere.
The Teeccino sounds interesting...I'll check out that website. I'm assuming that's the only place you can get it?
What other herbs do you use like tea? We have a local health food store that has an herbalist on staff and where you can get items that the chain stores don't carry. I might try there. It's not close to me, so I haven't been there in some time but plan to in the near future.
Teecc ino is available at Whole Foods, and other stores that carry natural or organic products. You may not be able to find all the flavors available thru the internet, but I hate paying shipping charges when I can get something in the store! It comes in cans, but I understand they're switching to those foil bags like coffee .. less waste.
My doctor also practices Chinese herbal medicine, so he puts together custom combinations, based on whatever your problem seems to be. He has a complete education in it, and I wouldn't attempt to do that myself. His herbs may also be a higher grade and fresher than what you can get at a health food store. You might want to check the store's herbalist's background.
