It appears identifying the source of information (including some links) so one can determine it's validity, and separate hype from fact is not important here. that said, i am disappointed for I thought differently when I joined this forum. I thought it was a place to exchange information not just opinion.
Thus, i will ask Amy to please delete my post and I am dropping from this group for it is not a place to share real factual information so we can all make our own health decisions.
Your initial thoughts were correct. One of the values of this group is having a diverse group of people come together to contribute their knowledge, opinions, and personal experiences. We won't always agree, certainly, and what works for one may not work for all. But it's in the spirit of seeking a healthy lifestyle--and wishing health and well-being to our fellow group members--that we gather to discuss. With that in mind, I would ask that we leave this post up so that others may benefit from the information within.
You listed a web site in your earlier post. If there's a particular article or excerpt that you found especially insightful, I would encourage you to include it (with sourcing). www.aarp.org/community/editor/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/regular_smile.gif" />
