A handful of friends do not consider themselves Seniors. It's a mind thing, I suppose, how one sees him/herself. It's just another a label when you really think about it.
On the other hand, I was pretty thrilled when I obtained that status, and stepped on the next stage of life.
For me, becoming a Senior meant looking at a portfolio of life lessons. The lessons were ups and downs, but the results are here. There's not much I can do about the past, and there are no regrets.
Ahead lies a whole life of new experiences. I think it's pretty cool, don't you?
AMEN! Senior means the top, the most experienced, more important--and gimme my discount!
