I got an e-mail this morning from Charity Navigator, a non-profit that's best known for evaluating the operations of thousands of charities. It included a link to this article on their website: http://blog.charitynavigator.org/2012/08/another-study-confirms-women-give-more.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+CharityNavigator+%28Charity+Navigator+Blog%29. The title of the (short) article is, "Another Study Confirms - Women Give More". This is the final thought in the article:
"The newest study shows that the difference between older men and women is even more profound if we look at the wealthier– women in the top 25% for income give 156% more than their male counterparts. Researchers involved in the study suggest that women give more because they tend to score higher on traits such as empathy and caring which impact philanthropic activity."
The underlined is a link to their source article. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
