I was looking around the web site and came across your group. I started the Fat2Fit challenge late April. I had already lost 10 pounds before joining. Since April 13th I have lost my first goal of 10% of my beginning weight. That was 36 pounds. I have never lost that much weight so last. My husband decided to lose weight at the same time and it is such a pleasure to do it together. It has been the motivation to lose.
I love to swim and we have a pool in the backyard. I swim at least 15-25 minutes daily. Unfortunately, my body is adjusting to that plan. I have had some back issues and find walking to be painful after a short while. Any suggestions to get more exercise?
I have more than 150 pounds to lose. My goals are short term goals and realistic. 10% for the first goal, now on second goal of 25 pounds by late August/early September.
Great that you are now reducing your meds. You must be so pleased!!! It is a great inspiration for all of us to know that by reducing our excess weight we can reduce our blood pressure and our blood sugar. That's good evidence of how much better our health becomes when we lose weight.
Keep it up and keep reporting back so that we can be inspired!! www.aarp.org/community/editor/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/teeth_smile.gif" />
