The three part series, THIS EMOTIONAL LIFE premierd Monday, January 4 on PBS. Part one, Family, Friends & Lovers explored personal relationships. The segment about family specific to the relationship between parents and their children was a little disappointing because there was nothing revealed, which most of us [parents] don't already know. However, the segment about lovers offered good information about how to problem solve in troubled [maritial] relationships.
I hope you will tune in to part two which airs tonight [1/5/10], titled, Facing Fears. This segment will explore why we have negative emotions, and how to better manage these [troubling] feelings.
Hi Maizie! I missed all of this. I am going to see if I can catch it in a re-run or something because I love programming such as this. PBS is one of my favorite places to watch. The other night, Alan Alda was doing a documentary on the differences in ourselves and chimpanzees. I thought this might be another boring analogy, but it turned out to be quite interesting. Also, there was a special about a group of seniors who perform all over the US. VERY good footage and inspiring.
I better get a guide or something so I will not miss so much!
