You failed to indicate where the information in that post came from, but it is from http://www.ourcatholicfaith.org/thechurch.html. Hardly an unbiased source. Suggest that it won't persuade anyone, but is more like preaching to the choir of those of like beliefs.
Basically the whole Catholic doctrine rests on that Peter went to Rome and was the first Pope, a devine figure, when even he had stated that he was only a man not to be worshiped. The question is, what proof is there that Peter was even in Rome?
But perhaps you are taking this discussion too much as an affront and a little too seriously rather than as we engage even in political ones.

And what makes you think that I as a Catholic would believe anything that you have posted? that would be rather silly. don't you think? I believe what my religion tells me to believe and you believe what your religion tells you to believe.
And yes, I do take religious beliefs quite seriously.
Therefore, I simply state that whatever you have posted is false, and whatever I have posted is the truth. and that is the end of that.
