In Response to Re: How unpopular or popular is Obamacare?:
GAIL: And that is the point - if you don't know what is included in a piece of legislation - how can anyone say that they approve of it?
Even in TX - folks are getting healthcare via ACA provsion:
Mark Sullivan, 31 - Austin, TX

My post was ONLY about the part of the law requiring Congress to participate.
I want them to participate just like Mark Sullivan, 31 - Austin, Tx. and I want the President and his Administration to be right in there too - picking their plan based on their income, age, smoking habit, and areas of the country. If their income to family size doesn't get them a government subsidy, the OPM (government office) should not have to pay any part of their premium.
I don't consider voting someone into office or those to whom they directly hire as being an employee of the government. They are contract labor and we need to tighten up their contract and Freedomworks agrees with me.
It is the Democratic Party that seems to think they are above the PPACA.
Mark should be fine in his pick of exchange plans considering his age and hopefully he is healthy, doesn't smoke, etc. - he probably doesn't take too many medications so the limited insurance exchange formulary shouldn't be a problem. He most likely isn't being treated for a current condition where the participation of certain medical providers is important to him. He also seems like an intelligent person who understands how insurance works and his part of the contract and when his part is due and payable.
Being an intelligent person, I'm sure he compared plans on and off the exchange as to the best choice for the money for his health care coverage needs.
Wouldn't you want The President, Congress and their direct staff to have such wonderful choices of plans?
