I heard that our part of the deal might allow for Russia to allow Israel to take out the nukes in Iran, somehow I just don't think this administration thinks that way.
I hear that one as well, and was supposedly why Net went to Moscow recently. But I don't buy it. For one thing that is months away and Israel doesn't need Russia's OK because Russia isn't going to war with Israel no matter what they do.
If, however this is a 3-way deal with Russia to allow TOUGH sanctions on Iran then they will come sooner and will allow Obama to wink, wink, know what I mean, say that he got something good out of Russia.
My guess is though that Russia didn't make any deal because they are using the opportunity to make political hay out of our waving the peace of paper by saying things like "well now we will listen harder"--or whatever the exact quote was. But maybe it's like our translation of "restart" and Russia really wasn't trying to rub our noses in this thing.
Time will tell if this was a good political move or just another Munich.
