I agree with you, but I feel the only way to "take back this organization" and return it to its roots of advocating for seniors instead of ACORN, SEIU and the other leftists agendas and advisors that Obama has surrounded himself with (appropriately called "Czars", comrade) is to kick out its top management starting with the CEO who was a huge contributor to Obama's campaign.
Absolutely. The letter is just one small part of it. People think AARP represents seniors and AARP supports this ridiculous legislation. The first step is letting people see the majority of members do not agree with AARP's public actions. AARP management is out on a limb by itself.
