"What are you against? "
Most especially, and emphatically, the "Free Market" approach.
For-profit providers must not be allowed anywhere near the Health Care System.
"What do you want?"
Full coverage, FAR lower rates, no exclusions.
Single Payer Public Option (I thought I made that clear in my post by underlining it.)
HR 676 would be fine for now, but we MUST get private profit completely out of Health Care.
"What comments are lies on this thread?"
I'll choose only easy one FOR NOW, but there are so many lies about concerning the health care proposals they're impossible to follow completely - and I realize that's the goal. It won't work.
When staying home, drinking fluids, and getting rest is probably the best choice, people who pay little or nothing in the form of a copayment will often go to the doctor because they have the benefit and believe they are entitled to get the most of their benefits. Even the poorest in America can afford cigarettes, alcohol, and/or fast food…
I know I've seen this disproven, there's even a term for it. I'll get back to you. It may be in a hard copy book...
"Just adding another 40 million to the insurance rolls (public or private) will do nothing to reduce the cost of Health Care or the total spending on Health Care."
That's hardly the totality of the proposals.
Even in the current four bill proposals, there are savings built in, that (for instance,) the CBO, purposely (?) ignored.
Single payer (HR676,) for one, would pay for it by removing profit and its overhead from the system.
The TMR was once 91% - now it's 32% thanks to cuts by Kennedy, Reagan, and the Bushes
It need to be rolled back up to 91% as it was from 1951 to 1963. President Obama's suggested 4% is an insult.
Then there's End (buy back) the FED. Eliminate TONS of untaxed interest.
So, there are MANY ways to pay for it.
Very clear, Thanks.
