Wow - not even a mention of the link - guess you could not get past the title of the Topic. Pretty sad on your part. And very, very un-American I might add = no matter how much time you 'served our country'. I always give great respect to those who serve in our military - but I will make an exception in your case.
As for the "millions" filling the grounds in Washington - Mr. Beck never promised or promoted this at this time. He was even surprised (pleasantly so) with the thousands that turned out across America on April 15th. The time will come when that happens - and it will be even sooner than Mr. Beck thought it might.
Being a life-long nudist and having a gay child has provided you a great deal of experience with intolerance - some of which, sadly, seems to have rubbed off on you. I feel great pitty for you.
The tea parties were hatched, planned, and paid for by three right-wing organizations: FreedomWorks, headed by former Republican Majority Leader **** Armey; dontGo, which organized last year's GOP public-relations blitz in support of offshore drilling; and Americans for Prosperity, headed by Ralph Reed's former business partner, Tim Phillips.
Having organized the parties, Republicans then showed up to pour the tea. Speakers at various locations included Newt Gingrich, Armey, John Boehner, Alan Keyes, Joe the Plumber, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, several Republican members of Congress, and ****-bait David Vitter. What a crowd, we even got to hear the ignornce of a Texas governor who obviously never paid attention in history class.
As for me being a life long nudist, maybe you should give it a try and relive some of that stress you obviously harbor over a failed tea bagging event and the exposure of the clown Beck.
Save your pity, mine goes out to the intolerant GOP evangelicals who see nothing wrong in writing discrimination into our laws and refusing to accept, all people men, women, gays, straights, black, white, and all in between are equal. I pity those who think because you have a majority you have the right to control the minority. I suggest you re-read the reasons our founders made this a republic. Equal rights for all ring a bell?
