The Federal Reserve is not going away so I wouldn't waste any time and ink trying to convince anyone that is needs to be abolished. Half the problem with the federal reserve was that Allan Greenspan was a stong believer in deregulation and a loose fiscal policy. He lowered interest rates to record lows in 2002 to get the econoy moving again and that helped set off the feeding frenzy in the mortgage market. Most of those toxic mortgages were originated since 2002.

You're probably right in that so much power and corruption seem invincible, as they've been for 80 years or so. However I could never give up the logical conviction that without buying it back, this country is totally doomed, except for the very, very rich.
Oh well, at least I'm not young, with a lifetime of the inevitably deteriorating q.o.l. to look forward to.
And I'll be paying attention just in case logic and realization suddenly take hold (or someone rats out the Bildenbergs) and I need to quickly replace those knitting needles with a shotgun to defend the house. Something in me still insists the truth will eventually out, in spite of even the more logical among us still insisting, against the unthinkable truth, that the comfortable inertia of the status quo is to be preferred, and a band-aid will completely change a thoroughly rotten core.
