It has become amazing to me, to see how people are blinded by emotions, There is no doubt that all of our futures lies in the fact that this Administration succeds. To see Politicians that know nothing about being an economist. provide their opinions as if they were truths in order to protect their own personal agendas.
We as Americans, have always been a nation of pretty inteligent people, what is happening now? Where is our logic ? Are we able to separate between the propaganda and the amount of truth that could be diseminated out there?
I feel that all politicians, should "shut up" for a change, and put their efforts, not on being re elected , but put their priorities in the welfare of the American people. Yes, there are many CEO's that should have gotten fired. let alone receiving bonuses. Take the CEO of the Bank of America, when all of this started, he went crazy with power and started buying companies such as CountryWide and Merrill Lynch, B Of A. had no business in expanding their empire by putting the bank in such dire straights.
Yes there is a lot of blame to go around, I hope that lessons will be learned by the young generation, perhaps, they will finally learn that it is not about them, and they cannot have everything right now. Sometimes I feel that as a parent I share part of the blame somewhat ,by not teaching my children more about values and less about consumerism.
Funny, I hadn't seen your post, or CharMi's, before I posted mine (actually it sort of posted itself - twice - before I knew it!), but it appears we're all saying the same thing. Time to get back to basics, and help our adult kids & grandkids understand the value of working for what they want, or think they need, & can't wait for.
