Where do you reckon those 'bad guys' obtained those guns? At the local Guns 'R Us? No doubt they were purchased by a legitimate buyer legally, then either sold, stolen, etc before they ended up in those 'bad guys' hands. So what's the big deal about registration to control their location? It works in tracing other things. What if your gun was stolen? Think it might end mixed up in some crime?
