You need to learn how to post in a civil manner, friend. You are full of gratuitous insults that you love to hurl anonymously. Shame on you.
I bought insurance on the individual market for over 20 years, and all of the policies available were junk. A policy that looks cheap generally isn't insurance. One nice touch about these policies: the insurer can decide to change coverage completely, and you're generally stuck. They wait until participants in a particular plan are older and liable to need care, then they cut back on benefits. By that time participants have a "pre-existing" condition (i.e., high blood pressure) and find it impossible to switch to another plan.
It's a scam.
They never wanted CRAP policies, and the insurance companies did not identify what they sold as "crap". The ones who want to continue with those policies will be happy UNTIL they get sick or injured

I'm sure you do know that many you refer to as "crap policies" are NOT crap but EXACTLY what those people wanted. Would you be so pleased if we next had the Affordable Car Act mandating that you can keep your car if you like it, but come Jan 1, 2014 you MUST replace it with a GM car because YOUR CAR is crap! It never amazes me with the logic from the Demo-dupes!
