I just wonder how much money could be saved by eliminating the constant 24/7 ads on every TV station, radio, in newspapers and magazines. These commercials are quite long, and how many times must we see the same one repeated every hour? What do they do for the average person who shouldn't have to "ask" a doctor for a prescription if they can even afford it?

Pharma spends more on ads and doctor perks than research!! I don't see why that is allowed although it certainly increases sales and total health care costs. with so many having some kind of "coverage" ( Medicare,insurance,medicaid etc.) people don't feel the cost so much.
