I remember, back in the 80's, surfing through various religious stations, but that was the era of the "televangelist". It seemed that everyone of them, Falwell, Baker, Swaggart and Robertson tried to compete and outdo one another with opulence and showmanship. Falwell and Swaggart were among the worst who spewed their anger and hatred on stage stirring up an audience who was just as angry, hateful and self-righteous. Some of them ironically ended their services performing miraculous cures supposedly showing the love of Jesus Christ as desperate people crawled before them asking for mercy. Yet, their empires kept growing as they also increased their attacks on good people from other faiths. Falwell had some scandals, Baker and Swaggart fell in disgrace while Graham and Robertson managed to survive.
I don't know what challenging the "Theory of Gravity" means. Could someone explain this?
