I was obviously being entirely too kind so let's wrap up a few of the lose ends.
1. David Rhodes assumed the role of President of CBS News 2/2011. His prior work goes back to 1996 when he started at Fox as a Production Assistant and advanced to the position of Vice President of News. He left Fox in 2008 to spend a few years at Bloomberg.
The only reason I bring these dates up is to suggest that CBS is being led by an individual who has zero history in what RWNJ refer to as "liberal media".
2. I won't speculate on Rhodes willingness to ignore the fact checking aspect of CBS, but any President worth is weight should be more than passively interested in relying on a single entity's story when the News and the Publisher of the single entity are in publishers bed together.
Remember, Rhodes has a history in working in production, so please don't try and spin this both ways - you will be roundly mocked!
