Does the white person profile the black person by skin color ? Of course not he profiles them by behaviour.
Meaning what ?
That black people have some certain behavior based on their race.
There is a lot of discussion about the effects of racism on black people in the US , but very little is said about the effects of racism on whites.
I personally define that as anexity IE an unreasonable fear of blacks simply because they're black.
The Martin case at hand was it really the fact that he was 6' 2'' or that he was wearing a hoodie that made him a target ?
No, what made him a target was he was black.
So for people who say there is no racism in the US, that those days are gone , they're wrong.
Blacks have to be careful about how they dress , where they go, how they talk , how they act , to avoid being profiled as a gangster.
They're a lot safer if they play the part of what white people expect a good black person to be then if they just do what's popular in the black sub culture.
Even if they do all that it's no guarantee of safety , well spoken black men in fine suits driving nice cars are often pulled over and questioned because they're profiled as drug dealers.
Then they're dressed to nice, the car is to nice, to be " normal " for a black man.

Hello Gruffstuff as assessors in any situation use all that is at our disposal, yes, he is black, yes he was a certain height, wearing a hoody walking not straight but as teenager do meandering around and looking like they R up to know good, that is what Z saw the reality is should someone like him be out there in the first place with a concealed weapon loaded and ready for action, who was not very smart and not a critical thinking or someone who has critical ability to speak as well. This was the perfect storm of stupidity, stupid teen vs stupid adult, something stupid was going to happen.
Yes each group of whites of different ethnicities were discriminated against, here is the difference If I wanted to be Irish I could say my name was an Irish name and probably they would believe me, but a black American cannot his skin color is obvious.
I know I would be more comfortable if they acted like me, but they do not for the most part, they perpetuate the culture and behavior of a suppressed people and as long as they R suppressed black Americans for the most part will continue to behave in what we call the ghetto way.
Well what do U expect, if everyone in ghetto dress poorly and all of a sudden U see a black American wearing fine clothing and driving in a fine car U say oh, drug dealers. If we keep black Americans down this ghetto behavior will continue, this is sociology at it's finest. Let's give a hand up not a hand out but a real hand up not in front of the cameras and when the cameras R off we take the hand away. Hunter
