Gee, how lucky some consumers are, I was paying 500.00 a month in premiums a month, and the only thing that we ever charged were 3 visits to the Dr. a year (6 for both of us) and lab reports to see that we were on track with our medications. and that is all. Anthem Blue Cross has never offered any money. and we just left them this January, when their premiums jumped to almost 800.00 a month for a Medicare Advange Program.

I have no idea what kind of Medicare Advantage plan that was, but around here almost all MA HMO plans are zero premium and PPO plans usually have premiums less than $100. Medicare plans are regulated differently than health insuance plans for the under 65 market. MA plans are much more highly regulated that consumer health insurance plans under the ACA.
