I would love to if I lived there, but I live in New Bern, NC and there is no way I would even get to there. I just lost my job, and I am trying to get it together, and it is hard out here. The taxes are quite high and job markets really truly stinks because this is right to work and employers can harass against older people. I had a supervisor, he was just 26 years just got college and his wife just had a baby, and he targets me a lot. I am having a lot out to deal with, and it just un call for it because it started seven months back and did not know much how to run the production floor.
I am sorry to hear about your current situation. I had a similar experience while I lived in Louisiana (talk about an employer biased state). I moved on went back to school which has been a saving grace for me. The new millenials are many and will be a force to reckon with as they enter the workforce. I see a need for baby-boomers in the workforce to work hand-in-hand and alongside the younger generation. Yes, they are tech savvy but they could use some help with interpersonal skills; as we are more comfortable with interpersonal skills but need help with technology. I see that there could be a future for both generations on the job. I will keep you in my prayers and wish you the best.
