Some of the things that I have noticed would be about what you are describing. It seems that the older women in the 60's age range who want younger men, think younger and are more active. They want to feel young and alive again. Many men in their 60's may not want to be active anymore or may not be "able" to be active in many ways, that women still need. Women this age know they only have precious time left and may want to make the most of it while they can. Is this a bad idea? Sounds good to me! Life is too short not to have fun.
I wanted to put my 2-cents worth in here. My soon to be ex-husband was 7 years younger than myself. i just never thought of him being that much younger than me until I turned 65. Now how weird in that. Everyone, everyone has always told me that I looked younger than him, and I know I felt younger. He was always tired. All he wanted to do was play computer games. Me, I love being at home but I also like to be "out there having fun." As you say, life is toooooo short not to have fun.
