Before anyone comments on this,,,think about it first. In today's econonics (I hope I spelled that right),, how do you feel about dating a person that has been downsized or just recently unemployed. At the age we are now, we often look for someone that is at least in a decent financial bracket, with a retirement plan or something to the equalvant. anyway, do you date and try to encourage, or do you bow out gracefully for fear that this person is so discouraged that he or she will just be around for what they can get. Remember, alot of times the slump is temporary, and if we encourage well,,,who knows how we can help that person bounce back. Or?
This really hits close to home. Late in 2000 I was laid off and my husband (now ex) and hooked ended up with a woman making lots of $$. Funny thing is 9 years later she has lost her job and I’m the one making $$. You can be a gold digger if you are a man or woman. I think you have to weigh each situation as it is given to you.
