Just checking in again. Like the way the discussion is going. It's not my imagination, there IS a double standard on dating sites. Just for the record, the AARP advertisement I referred to was just a head shot of a long haired, hollow-cheeked blonde, no man in sight /site. Everyone knows we women don't care what a man looks like as long as he has money., right? Concerning the advantages of posting a photo, how does that work if one is not especially attractive? Seriously (I CAN be serious), I know that men are genetically programmed to respond to visual stimuli, but I don't have to like it.And since I don't plan to meet or date anyone on this (or any) site,I refuse to post a picture. I fugure of anyone misses out on my rapier wit because of it, it is their loss.
