Thank you for your kind words,prosecco62. I don't know how many people of my aquaintance would agree with your assessment. I hear the words "stubborn" and even "contrary" a lot. But, I must admit, I have been known to cut my nose off to spite my face.
If I had to describe my personailty, I would quote Kris Kristofferson. I'm "a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction". But which part is which? Basically, only the shadow knows! (btw, I am NOT old enough to remember the shadow. Don't want to postdate myself. But feel free to use the Kristofferson quote as a frame of reference.)
Anyway, I have a new verse of my old rant. Just read "Raquel Welch, Aging Beautifully" here on the AARP site Why have I never seen a..."Dustin Hoffman, Aging Handsomely."article?Even when we are permitted to age, it's better if we do it beautifully. Given, the article does focus on more than Ms. Welch's looks, but the title just sets my teeth on edge. Again, anyone else's thought?
