In Response to RE: Intimacy by cajeha
"When did the AARP go to brown paper wrappers?"
Oh, I don't think there is so much filth that the brown paper wrappers are necessary...yet!
The very first response to the initial post made a suggestion that the poster define what he meant by intimacy. I agree that it was necessary for all of the respondants to be on the same page. Sexual intimacy was hinted at, but there are many types of intimate situations, not all of which require exposure to anyone's anatomy!
Some questions were quite direct but there was an underlying playfulness and amusement. We're all mature adults and occasionally there are posts that are less than discreet on some of the discussion forums, but this one seemed to be fairly chaste in referring to sexual intimacy...I wasn't offended by a little teasing. Sometimes it is the only way to elicit the information necessary to pursue the idea under discussion. Besides, no one is required to answer a question he/she finds offensive in nature. JMO, but for what it's worth, I really don't think we crossed any lines. I am more offended by pictures of some of the models in thong bikinis or side-less tops that one sees in magazines or on the runways and red carpets of the fashion and entertainment world. I'm sure some of our gentlemen members will not back me up on that comment...lol!
