Hi Barbara - Welcome to the Medicare Part D Group! So glad you find this group helpful. Your mom is lucky to have you looking out for her best interest. Does she have Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage now? If so, she (or you on her behalf) should definitely shop around during Open Enrollment for a potentially better plan in terms of cost and coverage.
I like your suggestion about listing links. I'm not quite as computer savvy as Jane, so I'll see if she can give me some tips as to how to provide links easily for participants. Great idea!
Please help the following Lady. She thought her AARP membership card would give her a drug discount? She posted to the Community help Group?

I have been a member of AARP for over 2 yrs now. I only received a paper card, do you get a plastic one and if so how do I get it. I did use my card and got a discount on my glasses, but when I went to use the card on getting my medicine, they said my card did not cover it. How do i get coverage for medicines and how much more do I have to pay? when I signed up 4 AARP, I was given a certain price for 2 year coverage and I thought everything including med were included, did not know and was never told I had to paid more, Can someone give me some insight to this .
thank you ">>>
