Looks like Democrats having town hall meetings are receiveng an earfull from disgruntled Republicans and Democrats. Dems are saying that Republicans are planting stooges in the audience to drum up opposition to Obama's health care plan. What do you think? Do you think this opposition is legitimate?
It appears that many of the agitators are overhyped, ill-informed right-leaning conservatives who have insurance and don't want to pay anything for uninsured people. What many don't understand is that the reform of health care means overhauling everything to make an efficient machine to serve everyone better--and, in the process--reducing costs for everyone-- It would be like Medicare for all...
Remember: 40% of what you pay for health insurance goes to the insurance company--much of which is profit for them.
Reform won't work if it is a piecemeal project. This reform must include taking the insidious power from the insurance companies; they know that and are employing thru the pols in the Repub party, insidious tactics to make health care reform appear to be a scary, bad thing.
