No Kitty It happened January 1 when Social Security increased anyway. I just checked that Social Security went up like they said it was going to do based on the cost of living allowance. I did not notice that the Medicare Rx payment had been dropped. Remember, we only get one notices for Social Security a year about what our payment will be for the next year and it is not very clear in what it actually presents..............
Then my apologies; as I said I don't have mine deducted from my SS check and didn't receive any notice (that I read anyway) that it was even possible so I thought it had not changed. Then I would contact AARP/United and insist on having 5 mos of double payments to catch up.....as you said and the other gentleman, it is their error, they should work with you. You'll probably have to get them to bring a supervisor to the phone to get anything done....good luck and I think I'll stay with my method....sounds safer to me. I pay all my bills online so I check bank balances every day to make sure (1) the bank actually sent the payment (Bank of America has been known to drop the ball) and (2) that no one else has managed to get into my account so checking for the United payment is not a big deal for me. But having 4 or 5 mos hit at once would be a very big deal!!
