It's no secret that flying has become more expensive and more time-consuming lately. Have you experienced bad care in the air? Faced massive delays? Been strip-searched by the TSA? Experienced cancellations first-hand?

I traveled on September of 2009 from Los Cabos San Lucas to Cancun, Mexico on Mexicana. Little that I knew there was a storm that prevented the aircraft from landing in Mexico City to make the connection to Cancun, Mexico which was my final destination. I do not blame Mexicana for the storm and any natural disaster. There is simply, no control of these events. What I am dissapionted with Mexicana was what transpired after the aircraft was diverted to Acapulco, Mexico. We were held hostage for more than 4 hours inside the airplane. The level of misinformation and stupidity on behalf of Mexicana officials was out of this world. About the time we were excorted out of the aircraft and got a new ticket re-issued it 7:30 a.m. of the next day. To this day Mexicana will not respond to me in writing or any form of communication. I just put a complaint in the Better Business Bureau and found out they have a rating of "F". If I would've known this information, I would have never booked a fight with this carrier.
