Does anyone know how a person can contact whoever is responsible for enrolling people in the program for people between 50 and 65, who have not had insurance for a long time, and have lots of health problems? I believe that last July 1 a program began in each state, but I never saw it advertised and I have no idea of whom to call. My friends and relatives say I should check into it, since I am now living on a pension from my ex-husband, without insurance, and am unable to work, due to health problems. I was on disability prior to his retiring, and SSA, of course, stopped it, since the pension is more than the disability was. But then I had healthcare covered and now I don't, and the costs of paying full price is getting to be too much for me to handle, since prices keep going up. Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.
