I seem to recall reading somewhere on this blog that it is possible to suspend Medicare Part B payments - without penalty - if we move to another country for an extended period of time.
We don't want to completely lose Medicare - because we plan to return in a few years - but realize it doesn't cover us out of the country.
My concern is around whether we would be penalized 10% for every 12 month period if we SUSPEND it while we are away.
Anyone have any info. on this? I've been online looking for answers but to no avail.
