In Response to Help reduce Medicare fraud!!! by toddtee
We can help! Even if it isn't fraud some tests and treatments are not necessary and add to Medicare cost.
It's a good idea to get copies of all tests results and keep them because if you see a new doctor as we have had to do several times the doctor will setup another set of tests and possibly treatments for something that has been checked out before. My blood tests have been pretty consistent for over a lot of years, but they all show a below normal red cell count so the first reaction is anemia ,but I don't really have it after further analysis and testing.
