I'm 52, married and probably will be housebound by the end of the yea r or at l east wheelchair bound indoors as well as outdoors. I'm looking for ways to find caregivers and pay for their occasional caregiver's vi sits without having to deplete our assets to qualify for Medic aid.
I'll be contacting churches, nu rsing homes, and nu rsing schools this week to start the process. Any ideas? I live in Seattle. Cheers.
I understand and I wish you the best. I have to keep my vehicle in my 68-year-old mother's name so that I can qualify for Medicare and other assistance. It's not right that you can't own anything.
